First, the work I’ve done for decades: FileMaker business systems for organizations. The products under my own name come after that, and they’re shaped by it.

FileMaker systems for clients

The core of what I do. I build new FileMaker solutions, maintain and troubleshoot ones already in daily use, modernize long-lived systems, and integrate and extend FileMaker so it fits with the other tools an organization runs on. Real systems, for real organizations, with real work depending on them.

What follows — the products under my own name — is built on what that work has taught me. It’s part of my development work, not all of it.

Just What’s Needed (JWN)

Hub

A working home for projects, tasks, and the people attached to them — the place where the state of the work lives. It’s also where I’ve been wiring AI assistants into the day-to-day, so they can pick up context instead of being handed it every time.

FieldWork

Time and activity tracking that stays quiet. Enough structure to answer “what happened, and when” without turning every day into data entry.
